Green Bay wedding Photographer : My beautiful friend....and Bubba!

Yesterday I ventured out with my dear friend Angela (who works at my fav flower design shop..Petal Pusher) and her hubby Brian, to do some wedding portraits. These two honeys have been married for almost 2 years, but their wedding pictures are not something to write home about. Ang and Brian hired an acquaintance to do their wedding day pictures. She was someone that took beautiful macro shots..really nice pictures of flowers and stuff like that....so they thought she would be perfect, and she was REALLY inexpensive! When they got their wedding pictures back..they were devastated..the pictures were blurry, snap shot like..and there were NO pictures of just the two of them together. I first met Angela this past September, and the first thing she told me was about her wedding pictures..she teared up just talking to me about them. This should never happen to anyone..ever.

Ang and Brian- I hope these pictures help you feel a little better about your wedding day images. I had a blast with both of you..sharing bad, and very politically incorrect jokes..shameful..but FUN!!!

Beautiful portraits, Aubrey! What a lucky couple these two are to have found you to recreate their special day! Now, you've given them something to treasure for a lifetime.

These are stunning Aubrey! I'm sure they are thrilled with them. The last 2 should be large canvases...just breathtaking!

What amazing work, Aubrey! I am so sorry that their wedding images were ruined, but I am sure they are now going to think of it as a blessing in disguise! These images are perfect!

Miss Aubrey,

Not only did we have an absolute blast together- you convinced Brian to wear a vest! Witnessed a dead cat, made friends with a stoner...

The pictures are breathtaking- you took the goonie goofballs that we are and made us look pretty darn fab! I do however think the "bird" is of fine art caliber. ;)

We love you and you made this so special for us and filled the void. My sister already wants to do this too!

Oh Aubrey - what a treasure you have given them. I'm not happy with our wedding images either but we got married 7 years and 2 kids ago... I'd NEVER fit my dress now! :(
These are just beautiful!

I'm impressed that her dress still fits so well!! Great photos and how wonderful that she now has some shots of them that she loves -- to complement the macro shots from the day.
; )

Is that first photo taken at the motel I want to buy in Sturgeon Bay? Totally rubbernecked that a couple of weeks ago -- on the way up AND the way back.

These are just beautiful and Angela looks stunning (naturally!). The last two blow my mind, but I love the first one for some reason...it's like some sort of mod American Gothic!

Where is that place anyway?
