Green Bay Photographer : lilacs! In my kitchen!

mmm...I LOVE the smell of lilacs!!! I have two huge lilac bushes in my front yard..so I cut a bunch of branches off and now have adorable bunches of them all over my kitchen. I love that fresh lilac scent...so nice on a warm spring day!!

Green Bay Photographer : My little brother is engaged!!!!

Theo (little brother) and Mel are getting married August 2010..so happy for them!! We started out with some pictures at my house..around 6:00 last night...gorgeous evening light:) Then we headed out to a little park/stream hidden back behind 41..such a neat area!

This is SO them!!!

Green Bay Photographer : Rose and Willie {engaged) !!!!!

Early this afternoon I met with Rose, Willie, and my 2nd shooter in training..Ang, for engagement pictures at Bayshore park. This park is so cool..awesome playground, trees, wooded paths, and a boat launch with perfect access to the water!! We had a great time shooting these two sweeties. After our shoot we went with Willie and Rose and checked out a local bowling alley/bar/diner that had amazing fried cheese curds and bloody marys..mmmmm such a great afternoon!!

I made Rose pose for me so that I could test out my new lights and backdrop...very fun stuff. Little did she know that I would be blogging her!!!! {insert menacing laugh here}.

Today was beautiful! I had the privilege of photographing Max and Ilia's intimate wedding. They had a small ceremony followed by a reception at Titletown, all with close family members. It was perfectly them..simple and classic! Thank you both so much for having me be a part of your day!!

Green Bay Children's Photographer : E and A {a year later}

Today I photographed Eli and Anna for their 6 year and 2 year pictures. They were both so well-behaved!! If you'd like to see a flash back to a year ago click here..can't believe how fast time flies!

It was a really fun photo-shoot..Anna even snuggled with her brother AND let us dress her up in an adorable petti-skirt!!

Green Bay Photographer : Keep me freeeeeee!

I have volunteered to be "locked up" May 20th, in order to raise funds towards research on Muscular Dystrophy. However, if I can raise my goal prior to that date I will not have to join in the lock-up...which will break my friend Angela's heart because she is all set on me joining her there ;)

Here is a letter that I received from a local kiddo living with muscular dystrophy....I actually used to photograph him years ago at the pre-school where his mother worked. This letter really brought it home for me!

This afternoon I photographed Ren and his brother Casey, over at their house..in the backyard. They were complete gentlemen...so cool:) They also have the biggest cat I have ever seen..really, I thought it was a dog at first!! Such a great shoot, thanks guys!!
