Rylee (also known as Mimmy's future husband) came to visit me today for his 1 yr pictures. He is getting so big, it's just crazy. He is way too cute..with his oooing at me..*sigh*..love it!

My loves

The holiday season is here...unreal how quickly this year has come and passed. I have so much to be thankful for, but that is for another post. Today I want to concentrate on my loves. My two sweet loves...how lucky am I? My kids are growing up so quickly. Mimmy will be 2 in January and Sully will be 5 just a few days after her. In this busy season it can be hard to stop the chaos and look around...but please, do. Now I just need to listen to my own advice! Stop and take some time with your kids..or other loved ones. Make sure they know just how much you love them...never dismiss today what could possibly be gone tomorrow.

My little mimmy!

I stole this idea from my dear friend, Pam, of Friedman photography. If you come to our studio you will see a huge gorgeous bw canvas print of her two kids in a similar pose to this. I absolutely adore it!

I photographed an adorable little family today! Really, the kiddos were just a stitch, and did such a great job...Mom and Dad weren't too shabby either!

How do I possibly choose??

I photographed Alex on Monday and then we had a crazy impromptu blizzard, so I finished up yesterday with his outdoor pictures. Alex is an AMAZING dancer and a great sport!!

Would you like a little Matthew with that??

Matthew is a very good friend of mine...from way back in high school. He was my Schroeder, I was his Lucy..so began our journey. Matt is a singer/songwriter and will be showcased at the Art garage on December 13th. He is a very talented artist with some very inspiring ideas. Check him out!!

I met and photographed little Amaya today. She was so super cute and did a great job getting her picture taken. So fun!!

Yesterday I photographed my lovely nieces. First my sister betsy came in with her little love bugs. They were hilarious as usual...I could have done an entire blog post of outtakes, they were a riot!

New beginnings :)

So today was a milestone of sorts for me, I had my first shoot in our new studio. Hey Katie!!




The studio itself is not quite ready, but will be by next week. The name of the studio is called "Lemon Drop Studio". I am sharing the space with another photographer, Pam Freidman. I will still be known as Photo by Aubrey, and she will still be known as Freidman Photography. Now we just have a great space to share!

I have some pictures of the before, during, and after of our studios renovations, that I will post sometime soon.

Our studio is having its grand opening on Friday November 21st, 6pm-9pm and November 22nd, 9am-6pm. Come in to see our new space! Located at 1303 S. Webster Avenue, between Pannache hair salon and Petal Pushers floral shop.
