I had a extra cool shoot today with Jenessa...her take on Marilyn Monroe. I'm still working on editing a bunch of them..we got some pretty cool pics. But here is a sneak peek at what we accomplished:
This is a special announcement for those teeners looking to book with me for their 2010 senior pictures. I am running a special...first come first serve..kind of style, only available via e-mail. SO, e-mail me NOW!!! Do it, right now!!!!!! Ending at midnight tonight. I will contact the lucky gal(s) and guy(s) tomorrow!!!
Today I photographed an AMAZING engagement couple. Their wedding is this October...but they live in California, so are only in town for this week to take care of wedding details. One of the details being their engagement pictures. So, when they left California it was a breezy 80 degrees...welcome to Wisconsin 30's...fRiGiD! They were both fabulous sports, running around De Pere with me. I love love love the outfits they chose to bring along!
Can't wait for their wedding, I am already so excited!
Here is their sneak peek:
-I love the tree branches in this picture..and the window...it makes me smile:)
In this shot {below} Amanda brought with the clothing her parents wore when they were married in the 70's!!
Saturday evening I went over to A's Dockside in De Pere, WI. I ate some yummy perch and then I listened to the great tunes of Poor Mans Labor. That is not their bands real name, but I can't spell the real name, so it'll have to do :)
The music was great as always, but near the end of the evening bad luck struck. Lets just say it was not AJ's night. First Granny's guitar went nutso while he was playing it, then the bridge on his fiddle snapped in half..saddness: he handled it well..went outside to blow of some steam.
A few days ago I photographed the St. Norbert College Knights on Broadway group. They area very talented group of fabulous singers!! My brother in law, Kent, is the director. Such a great group of people..and an amazing show..so much talent!! Thanks for letting me tag along!
{This first picture is of Kent's perspective at the piano while the group is performing}
This afternoon I photographed the most perfect little wedding. Jennifer and Andrew exchanged vows at St. Phillips church in Green Bay. It was so sweet...the music was perfect..the weather was unbelievably gorgeous. It was a day meant to be just the way it was. *sigh* Thank you Andrew and Jennifer (and Eddie the elephant) for having me be part of your day. Have a great time in Mexico!!!
Sooo, last evening I e-mailed the amazing Victoria Vox to see if she would be opposed to me using one of her songs on my website. She e-mailed me back within minutes to say she was cool with it..only requesting that I link to her somewhere on my site.
SO, please send her some love!! She is a brilliant singer/songwriter!!

And check out The Bird Song on my site..I know you will fall in love with it too!!
Today Gabby came in for her 9 month pictures. She is getting SO big...and she is just precious. She was so mobile...loved crawling around the studio. She is at such a great age..exploring and interested in everything. We took some naked baby pictures..which were so sweet and so funny {don't worry mommy, pee is easy to clean up}. It was a great start to my week!!!
Today I photographed my friend Trinity and her big belly!! She is due any day now with her second baby..a little boy. She, her hubby and their little guy came in for some nice snuggly pictures. They also brought Trinity's childhood dog, Jasper. It was bittersweet. Jasper has numerous tumors and doesn't have much time left, so we did some pictures of just Miss Jasper....she was a lady, as always:)
