Green Bay Family Photographer: Beautiful Family!!!

Sunday afternoon I met with a adorable little family...cousins of E and A :) Our original session date was the Sunday before....it was SO cold and yucky outside so we definitely had to reschedule..it was not looking like the pretty June weather we had envisioned for our shoot at the park. Yesterday was an interesting one and we weren't sure if it was going to be much better out than the week before. There were crazy and random storms all afternoon. Bright and sunny to dark and stormy within moments..really weird weather! And then suddenly it was gorgeous out...just meant to be right then:) The kiddos were so well behaved..even little "J" cutting 4 teeth..was so cute. A little "Itsy bitsy spider" always gets me in a better mood too!!!

Green Bay Senior portrait Photographer : {Anthony's senior pictures} class of 2010!

This evening I met Anthony and his mom at my studio for some awesome senior pics! We began with some head shots and I could tell right away that my job was going to be pretty easy....Anthony is a natural..great smile!! Anthony is one of my senior reps for Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay...so excited to have him on board for the 2010 class!

Green Bay Engagement Photographer: Second Shooter..

A few months ago I started talking to my friend Angie, over at Petal Pusher, about second shooting/assisting me. She loves photography and has an amazing eye for detail, fashion, and composition..which shows in all of her floral design work..and baking (don't even get me started on the baking..A-maz-Ing). I wanted to take a minute to show off some of her work from our first shoot together, photographing Willie and Rose's engagement pictures. Angie did an awesome job and I can't wait to see where she will go from here!!! (You might even see more work from her up here in the near future;).

The greatest thing about working with another shooter is the different perspectives. I loved seeing the angles that Ang shot at, in comparison to the same set up that I photographed. It was really great to see them side by side..same shooting time, 2 completely unique images..SO cool!

Green Bay Family Photographer: Amazing 80 !

Yesterday my husbands family got together to celebrate his grandmother's 80th birthday..which is actually today..HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA ROSE ANN!!! We met at Pamperin Park in the morning..before the rain started and we took some pictures together. Pretty much everyone I knew was busy yesterday, so I asked my sister Betsy to come and take the group picture..and other pictures that I actually needed to be in:) Betsy was awesome..I set the camera for her and she made us all smile and snap!

Thanks Bets for taking some sweet pics;) I also had her take some of my little fam and me..since we were all cleaned up and cuteish looking.

Enjoy a peek at some of our images from the morning. If you look closely in the group picture you can see my little guy (the blond)..doing some serious pouting..can you tell he really dislikes picture time. Could be me inflicting torture on him his whole 5 years!!!

Kittens!

This past weekend my sister donated some kittens to me and because I can't say no, I took them in for a little bit of time. They are adorable, sweet, and a little bit sassy!! I found a home for two of the kittens and they were picked up today, I also have one of the others being picked up on Sunday. 4-3=1! 1 kitty left! Kitty number 4 is also free to a good home. He is black..approx 5/6 weeks old. He is very sweet and already litter trained. He had a few accidents the first day, but then he figured out exactly what the litter box was for and has been a trooper since! Please let me know if you would like to take him..he needs a nice home:)




This is a pretty bad picture of him, but it was tough getting any pictures taken with my kids running around trying to catch the kitties while I took pics.

Green Bay wedding Photographer : My beautiful friend....and Bubba!

Yesterday I ventured out with my dear friend Angela (who works at my fav flower design shop..Petal Pusher) and her hubby Brian, to do some wedding portraits. These two honeys have been married for almost 2 years, but their wedding pictures are not something to write home about. Ang and Brian hired an acquaintance to do their wedding day pictures. She was someone that took beautiful macro shots..really nice pictures of flowers and stuff like that....so they thought she would be perfect, and she was REALLY inexpensive! When they got their wedding pictures back..they were devastated..the pictures were blurry, snap shot like..and there were NO pictures of just the two of them together. I first met Angela this past September, and the first thing she told me was about her wedding pictures..she teared up just talking to me about them. This should never happen to anyone..ever.

Ang and Brian- I hope these pictures help you feel a little better about your wedding day images. I had a blast with both of you..sharing bad, and very politically incorrect jokes..shameful..but FUN!!!
